UNESCO Chair in Entrepreneurship (UCE) at University of Tehran is the part of UNWIN program established in 1992 with the aim to stimulate education, research and exchange of academic staff and to create a platform for information exchange in all the most important UNESCO activities.UCE aims to become a centre of excellence in teaching and research in the field of entrepreneurshipUNESCO Chair has been established at the Faculty of Entrepreneurship.

The Faculty of Entrepreneurship was founded in 2007 upon the approval given by the University of Tehran Board of Trustees on the back of the previously established Entrepreneurship Center and Entrepreneurship Department affiliated to this university.
As a new initiative in higher education, the graduate Faculty of Entrepreneurship was founded for the first time in Iran and the region in 2007 at the University of Tehran. The most obvious form of entrepreneurship is that of starting new businesses.however, in recent years, the term has been extended to include social and political forms of entrepreneurial activity. UNESCO the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) was founded on 16 November, 1945. For this specialized United Nations agency, it is not enough to build classrooms in devastated countries or to publish scientific breakthroughs. 
UNESCO Chair in Entrepreneurship (UCE) at University of Tehran is the part of UNWIN program established in 1992 with the aim to stimulate education, research and exchange of academic staff and to create a platform for information exchange in all the most important UNESCO activities.
After UNESCO approve and establishment of entrepreneurship Chair at University of Tehran, Iran managed to gain privilege of the chair establishment in Asia and Oceania region. After one and a half year attempts of UT Faculty of Entrepreneurship and holding numerous expert sessions, the program suggested by the faculty was approved by the National Commission, Regional Office and Central Organization of UNESCO. In the first phase, the agreement on the issue has been prepared and sent by UNESCO.Main Menu
